In comparison mode, matching lines are highlighted in green, and non-matching lines are highlighted in red.

The following commands are available in the NC program comparison mode:

Settings. You can configure the options and methods for comparing two NC programs.

Ignore Case. Upon enabling this function, the system will not highlight identical commands that only differ in case as distinct.

Ignore White Space. Lines with identical content in control programs, differing only by the number of spaces, will not be highlighted as different.

Select the comparing algorithm:

O(NP) Sequence Comparison Algorithm. It is an efficient algorithm for comparing sequences with a focus on minimizing computation time by leveraging the sparsity of differences between the sequences.

O(ND) Difference Algorithm. It is an efficient method for comparing two sequences to identify the minimal number of changes required to transform one sequence into the other. Its time complexity of O(ND) makes it particularly suitable for situations where the sequences are long but the differences between them are relatively small, providing a fast and effective way to compute differences.

Previous Change. Pressing the button navigates the cursor to the previous segment identified as having differences in the compared NC programs.

Next Change. Pressing the button navigates the cursor to the next segment identified as having differences in the compared NC programs.

Swap. The function swaps the positions of the control program panels.
