Application Area:

In setup mode, users can access a wide range of tools for configuring and modifying the process parameters shown in the Main Panel. The functions and commands available are identical to those in the CAM system and depend on the currently selected level in the operations tree. The operation tree includes the following levels:

  • Machine. This level provides access to tools for viewing and adjusting the parameters of equipment and fixtures.

  • Setup Stage / Part (Group). A Setup Stage defines a stage of the technological process executed while the workpiece remains in a constant position. The Part (group) is used in multi-component projects. These can be several different (design) parts or standard parts divided in the technology by operation, similar to a conveyor. See more.

  • Operation, This level provides tools for configuring the parameters of a specific technological operation.

Structure:

This panel operates a window that displays a tree-structured hierarchical view of the project's technological structure. This layout includes the setups, details, and operations pertinent to the project. The project structure results from the Split procedure. This window collaborates with the NC code Editor Panel. Selecting any technological object (such as an operation) automatically highlights the frame in the NC code Editor Panel that marks the start of this object.

The window presents the following columns:

List of technological objects. Features a hierarchical structure of the project, detailing the names, sequence, and nesting of operations, setups, and parts.

Coordinate system. Features the part's zero offset address — the work coordinate system (G54 – G59).

Tool number. Indicates the number of the tool applied in the operation.

Tool caption. Indicates the name of the tool applied in the operation.

Operation status. Indicates the status of the operation:
