System files

Main executable files of a system:

  • ency.exe — executable system module.

  • InP.exe — executable <Postprocessors generator> module.

  • SCUpdater.exe — executable program updater module.

Files of this type can be imported into ENCY Robot:

  • *.igs, *.iges — Initial Graphics Exchange Specification file format;

  • *.dxf — Drawing Exchange Format by Autodesk™;

  • *.stl — native stereo lithography CAD file format;

  • *.vrl — Virtual Reality Modeling Language file format;

  • *.ps — PostScript file format;

  • *.eps — Encapsulated PostScript file format;

  • *.x_t, *x_b — Parasolid™ kernel file format;

  • *.sldasm, *.sldprt — native SolidWorks™ project file format;

  • *.asm, *.par, *.psm, *.pwd — native SolidEdge™ project file format;

  • *.3dm — native Rhinoceros™ project file format;

  • *.step, *.stp — STEP, a modern standard for 3D data exchange;

  • *.stcp — system project files containing all information about the project, such as geometrical models, machining operations, toolpaths, etc. The previously used extension *.stc is also supported;

  • *.stcx — XML format project files. The project is also saved in the *.stcp format;

  • *.sto — files that contain information about operations, including the structure and parameters of operations within a project;

  • *.dxf, *.eps, *.ps — files containing 2D geometry information;

  • *.stl — files containing simulation results;

  • *.xml — files containing toolpath information for external simulators;

  • *.spp, *.inp, *.sppx — postprocessor tuning files for various CNC systems, used by ENCY Robot and the <Postprocessors generator>.

  • *.stfc — a zip-container file that can contain any other system files (postprocessors, machine schemes, projects, etc.). Content can be encrypted and digitally signed;

  • *.snci — interpreter tuning files for various CNC systems, used by ENCY Robot in Simulation of machining by NC program mode and in G-code based operations.

  • *.dsk, *.cfg — files containing data about the system screen settings. These are generated automatically if they are missing.

Other files and folders created during installation are essential for the proper functioning of the program. Modifying or deleting these files may prevent the program from functioning correctly. Substituting files should only be done during version upgrades and must be performed in strict accordance with the provided update instructions.
